Entry-level audiophile turntable
New generation turntables
The stylish, CNC milled chassis of the T1 does not contain any plastic parts and is manufactured without any cavities, so that no undesirable vibrations can occur in the chassis. In keeping with this philosophy, the platter is also made of solid glass. In contrast to plastic or light steel platters, this effectively suppresses unwanted resonances. The turntable of the T1 is belt driven. This precisely transfers the drive force to the newly designed sub-platter, which in turn sits in the ultra-precise 0.001 mm platter bearing with a hardened stainless steel shaft in a brass bushing. The 8.6 "long tonearm consists of a single piece of aluminum and is equipped with low-friction bearings. The pre-assembled Ortofon OM 5E quality cartridge is already adjusted and can therefore be used immediately. The scope of delivery also includes excellently shielded, quasi-symmetrical, low-capacitance Pro-Ject phono cables.
